Staff / Our Team
Melissa A., Public
Relations/Marketing – Helping to educate the
community by making them aware of what NIMG has to offer,
Melissa oversees projects (planning and implementation),
coordinating with the media, newsletter creation, and
general patient awareness venues. She uses patient ideas
to help improve their education and other networking areas
within the clinic. Melissa’s top priority – picking
through the extensive wealth of information the physicians
have to offer to better your family naturally, and to keep
them at optimum health. After that she’s a Red Wings
freak, enjoys the outdoors and amateur photography.
Christy F., Health Care Facilitator
–
Duties including scheduling patient appointments and
testing’s, taking calls, getting medical records sent to
where they need to go, and making sure patients feel
welcome and well cared for when they visit NIMG are her
priorities. If something isn’t right with your
visit, let Christy know and she will work on finding a
resolution. That of course applies only to the
office, because when she is not at work you might find her
(or it might be tough) outdoors hiking, camping, fishing,
snowmobiling, walking the dog, or maybe just inside
drawing and reading.

Linda B., Patient Liason/Medical Billing
Specialist – Linda has blessed our patients
with her experience and knowledge, assisting the
physicians by keeping them informed about patient’s needs
and more. She has been with NIMG and Dr. Kong for over 10
years, dealing with patient financial issues, supplement
and diet issues, and patient care plans. Insurance
verification, billing and follow-up are second nature to
her. If you don’t catch her at work, chances are she is
reading or is with her grandchildren, learning more than
she ever thought she could. |

Laura C.,
Health Care Facilitator (Bilingual) –
Chances are most patients, especially new ones, are
greeted cheerfully when they call NIMG by Laura. She is a
wonderful resource and a great first impressions officer,
able to communicate effectively with a large part of our
community, and hard working to make sure that appointments
and other needs are taken care of personably. Sports? Cubs
fan big time. “Yay! Go Cubbies!!” |
| |
Heidy C.,
Patient Financial Specialist (Bilingual) – Many patients need
understanding and patience while they are working toward
improving their health. Heidy is that individual who
assists patients needing rehab, helping to explain the
process, why and what exercises are needed, how to do them
safely and more. Between getting patients back to optimal
physical shape, she also draws blood for testing and other
diagnostic tests that are done internally. Aiming to
become a registered nurse, Heidy fills spare time playing
and reading with her kids. |
| |
Amanda G., Laboratory
Administrator – Overseeing the diagnostic
testing lab and testings (blood, UA, hormones, adrenal,
endocrine, heavy metals, etc.) done internally is her main
goal, and she manages it very efficiently. In addition to
being our go to person for diagnostic needs, she helps our
physicians and nurses with IV Vitamin Therapy drips and
more. Summer and being outside rock for her because of the
Cubs and the Bears, but her family and playing the WII
fall close behind. It takes a steady hand to work magic
with needles; wonder if that comes from playing some of
those WII games… |

Stephanie M.,
Patient Liaison/Front Office Coordinator
-
Whether you are a new patient or an established one,
Stephanie is here to answer any questions you may have
regarding understanding your care in our clinic, doctors
orders, testing’s required, and any other concerns that
crop up during care. In addition to assisting patient
concerns, she also oversees the front office flow. Taking
pictures comes naturally, especially when she is enjoying
the outdoors, but her hands are sometimes occupied with
changing diapers, dancing to the Monster Mash, and those
other fun things you do when babysitting. Children
are one of her weaknesses. |

Sherry W., Licensed Massage Therapist/Serenity
Office Manager – Sherry works with clients
from NIMG and Serenity, overseeing the office functions
and making sure that our patients receive therapeutic
massages when ordered by their physician. She graduated
from the Napa Valley School of Massage in California and
brings some of that influence to the group here. Enjoying
therapeutic medical massage, as well as relaxing Swedish,
hot stone and pregnancy massage just to name a few, is
what Serenity is all about. Going Green is more than a
dream and Sherry is down right earthy. She is very
eco-friendly, involved in the outdoors, art, traveling,
and vegetarian cooking.
